Creamy, perfectly sweet and spiced cinnamon apple butter that is made with ZERO added sugar! Delicious on pretty much ANYTHING you bake this fall and so much more! Spread on muffins, put on top of baked oatmeal, cooked oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, toast, plain or vanilla Greek yogurt, ice cream, etc. Note only that, this apple butter only uses TWO ingredients and your crock-pot does all the work for you!

Serves: 3.5 cups
Ingredients
  • 3 pounds apples, I used Empire*
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon**
Instructions
  1. Cut apples in large chunks (I leave the skin on).
  2. Cook on low setting in crock pot/slow cooker for 8-10 hours, then stir. I blended mine in blender (of use an immersion blender if you have one) for a smooth texture.
  3. Makes approximately 3.5 cups.
  4. This will store well in the freezer to use all year-round!
Notes
*See chart linked above in text for apple suggestions!
**I used quite a bit of cinnamon since I love it, but feel free to use less and adjust to your taste preferences!
