Recipe type: Nut butter, condiment
Cuisine: American
Serves: 1 heaping cup
Ingredients
  • 2 cups roasted and salted peanuts (I used cocktail peanuts)
  • 1 package (1 ounce) freeze dried strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon neutral flavored oil (canola, vegetable, etc.)
Instructions
  1. Add peanuts to a food processor or high-speed blender (such as a Vitamix). Process until a nut butter forms, then add in strawberries and tablespoon of oil and blend until creamy and smooth.
  2. This will take a total of approximately 3-5 minutes if using a Vitamix, but may take up to 10-15 minutes if using a food processor. Store in fridge to keep fresh.
Notes
I have personally found freeze-dried strawberries at Aldi, Kroger, and Target. They are likely at other grocery stores as well!
