This tastes just like oatmeal raisin cookies in cookie dough form. Not only is this meant to be eaten raw, it’s filled with wholesome ingredients like oats, raisins, almond butter, protein powder, and…chickpeas.

Ingredients
  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained*
  • 1 scoop (about 46 grams) plant-based vanilla protein powder**
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk***
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ½ cup raisins
  • ½ cup rolled/old fashioned oats
Instructions
  1. Blend all ingredients except oats and raisins in high speed blender or food processor until smooth. Stir in oats and raisins. Makes 4 servings.
Notes
*I also like to peel off the chickpea skins for a smoother consistency. This is a bit tedious, but worth it in my opinion!
**I used Orgain brand.
***Any milk of your choice can be used.
