And we’re back with another breakfast cookie dough ! Have you tried the chocolate chip version yet? This breakfast oatmeal raisin protein cookie dough is meant to be eaten by the spoonful! This tastes just like oatmeal raisin cookies in cookie dough form. ? Not only is this meant to be eaten raw, it’s filled with wholesome ingredients like oats, raisins, almond butter, protein powder, and…chickpeas. The chickpeas and almond butter provide a creamy base filled with filling fiber and protein, the protein powder and maple syrup provide sweetness, and raisins and oats provide a classic chewy texture.
While monster cookies will always have my heart, I learned in college that my husband actually prefers oatmeal raisin cookies over chocolate chip! We both love oats in cookies, but I usually prefer chocolate and peanut butter in my cookies over raisins. That being said, I love a change of pace and the cinnamon, maple syrup, and raisins just really work together.
Serving Ideas
This cookie dough is great eaten plain; I portion it out into individual servings to grab for quick breakfasts or snacks throughout the week. It’s also delicious with apples, honey wheat pretzels, graham crackers, etc. So many options!
What’s your favorite type of cookies?! I’d love to hear in the comments below! And if you ever have any recipe suggestions, I’m open to hearing ideas ?
Just look at that texture though. ?

Cookies always appeal to me. You may eat them with milk, make ice cream sandwiches, or add crumbled cookies to ice cream. But this version of them seems just awesome…
